The CRSA is proud to support the 21st Annual Graduate Interdisciplinary Conference! The Annual Graduate Interdisciplinary Conference (AGIC) began in 1995 as a doctoral project in the Department of Religion at Concordia University, Montreal. Since its inception, it has grown to feature research in topical and critical areas, with a broad range of subjects in the humanities and social sciences, with themes such as Reasonable Accommodation, Reciprocity in Theory and Practice, Embodied Religion, Crime and Punishment, the Afterlife, Liminal Spaces, Sexy Religion, and more. It has featured specific papers about Batman films, Satanic religions, the politics of immigration, food preparation, Buddhist shrines, pilgrimage, community identity, death practices, and sexuality. The AGIC showcases excellence in research within a welcoming professional atmosphere. We hope to continue to present innovative and creative work for domestic and international graduates.
