For those near Montreal, please note an upcoming public conference on Cognition Science of Religion with Dr. Colleen Shantz (St. Michael's College and University of Toronto). Her lecture is entitled: "Be the Change: On the Possibilities of Personal Transformation."
This event is sponsored by the Graduate Religion Student Association, the Christianity and Late Antiquity Research Group, and the Department of Religion (Religions and Cultures of Late Antiquity Area). The public lecture will be held at Concordia University on Thursday, February 5th at 6:30pm at the Samuel Bronfman Building, 1590 Dr. Penfield (at the corner of Côte-des-Neiges). On Friday morning (Feb. 6th) there will be a special Graduate seminar at the Religion Department. For more details, see poster below. Both events are free of charge. |
