Extended Call for Papers Concordia Religion Students’ Association Academic Journal of Religion Deadline to Submit is February 1st 2016 at 23h59.
The CRSA’s Academic Journal of Religion seeks to showcase the highest-caliber work of Concordia's undergraduate students in the field of religious studies. In accordance with Concordia’s Department of Religion, we believe that:
The academic study of religion is a multi-disciplinary enterprise. It involves the historical examination of religious movements, the literary analyses of their literatures, philosophical reflections on beliefs and teachings, the socialscientific investigations of their rituals, practices, texts, and institutions, the psychological study of their participants and ethical inquiries regarding both their moral writings and social roles.
Thus, we are engaged in creating a journal that facilitates the interdisciplinary study of religion, welcoming papers from different academic disciplines, approaches, and theoretical frameworks. Please refer to the submission guidelines listed below.
NB: Papers that do not respect the submission guidelines will not be considered.
- Religion must be the major focus of the work.
- We accept research essays, personal responses, visual art, and creative writing.
- Only one submission per person will be considered.
